About Tweestix

I grew up in New Zealand where merino and alpaca yarn was everywhere.  I have always been fascinated with fibre craft and made a small loom from cardboard and string when I was 8 years old, copied from a loom in a shop window. I bought my first spinning wheel at 21 and have knitted since my grandmother cast on 10 stitches for me as a child.
